SPOT

Blazing fast and feature rich, Interact's SPOT VoiceXML/CCXML based interpreters deliver high performance, limitless scalability and remarkable efficiencies to your media platform requirements with its premier voice and video application processing.

A SPOT Media Platform is designed to support high performance production systems such as: SPOT Logo

  • Interactive Voice Response (IVR) clusters in carrier/operator infrastructures (prepaid/postpaid applications)
  • MediaServers for IP Multimedia Subsystems (IMS) per the 3GPP architecture
  • IVRs for self service applications running ASR/TTS applications
  • IVRs in Call Centers and other high call volume environments
  • IVRs attached to PBXes (IP or TDM) as automated attendants and/or voicemail servers
  • Enterprise or carrier telephony application; i.e. conferencing, outbound dialing, ASR/TTS systems, IP-PBXes and more

Designed to reduce or eliminate application load and memory penalties, Interact's SPOT is able to process hundreds to thousands of voice channels on a single high performance server/host - thereby greatly reducing your initial investment and increasing both site efficiency and call processing times. SPOT enables operators to deploy cutting-edge services at a minimal TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). And given that SPOT can also be used in combination with existing legacy systems, prior capital investment is protected.

See the SPOT Performance Whitepaper for a detailed analysis of our unique performance capabilities.

Optimized for High Density Applications

SPOT was developed for use in environments that handle hundreds to thousands of voice channels. Standard testing for SoftSPOT, a pure software SIP-based VoIP Media Platform begins at a minimum of 500 channels for a server with dual 2.4 GHz processors. This is 9X more channel support than the majority of solutions on the market and 3X+ greater than Java-based systems. SPOT features linear scalability and no limit on the number of channels that are supported in a distributed environment.

In today's evolving market, as SIP-based application servers begin to replace traditional PSTN-based services, SoftSPOT allows SIP providers to deploy next-generation service architectures. Version V6.14 of SoftSPOT meets SIPconnect 1.0 requirements for IP-PBXs, and has the ability to send/receive faxes over IP.
